We had ANOTHER amazing dinner with friends, tonight. Sam was our waitress, and from the moment we sat down, until we left she gave us FANTASTIC service. We all ordered from the early bird menu- two of us ordered the delicious whitefish, the pecan chicken and sirloin tips were also excellent. Sides- clam chowder, bean soup and huge portion of coleslaw were all very delicious. Our favorite place- NEVER disappoints!!!

Had the walleye for lunch and it was AMAZING! Even the rice pilaf was great. Look forward to returning!

Celebrated Easter with family at Rocky's. I don't usually dine at restaurants on holidays. I was pleasantly surprised to have such good service by Samantha with such a friendly and upbeat personality. The food was served quickly and hot. We all ordered the Shrimp Lobster Fettuccini. OMG it was loaded with shrimp and lobster served in the tastiest red sauce. The hot bread was a great accompaniment. We even ordered hot puff ice cream for dessert and surprised each of us to finish it after eating a large entree. Really liked the decoration and friendly welcoming staff. Great Easter celebration.

We love it here. The calamari has bananas peppers that complement perfectly, and are so tender & delicious! Always good service. Get a reservation! They are often full and you'll wait for a table at busy times. They sell gift cards o here at Costco. Good value. The kitchen was ON POINT tonight! We had the calamari and it was perfection again. Service was strong. Upgrade to the house salad with a to-die-for raspberry maple vinaigrette. You can taste the quality in that dressing. My husband got the fillet and said it was outstanding. The beans were fresh and crisp. I got the walleye and it is always so good, and tonight had nice-sized pieces. With the sauce, rice, and spinach that dish is magical. Way to go, Rocky's. You still got it!! The fire in the dining room was beautiful. Thanks for a wonderful date night.

We were a party of eleven the evening of December 23. Everyone enjoyed the meal. I had frog legs, absolutely delicious; there were a lot of them on my plate, and mushroom soup, perhaps the best ever in a restaurant. Reminiscent of the soup at Golden Mushroom in Southfield many years ago. I requested a substitution of mashed potatoes instead of the rice that comes with the meal, no problem and it was another excellent choice, really tasty. Three of our party had swordfish, and pronounced it excellent. A few had steaks, also very good, but in my opinion, overpriced, but steak usually is these days. I was a bit put off by the high cost of some of the upgrades ($7 for different salads, $4 for a couple soup choices). Considering the prices of all our meals, this seems a bit extreme. As for service, it couldn't have been better. Our server was top notch, just the right amount of attention, refills on drinks and water without asking, very pleasant and well organized. Kudos to him. The restaurant had other large parties, so the noise level was fairly high, no surprise given the season. We'll try again sometime with just the two of us, seated perhaps in a different area and not on a Saturday. As much as I'd like to try other items on the menu, I'd probably get frog legs again. They're plentiful, and not found in most restaurants in recent years. I was also happy that they include the gratuity on the check for parties of ten or more, and the waiter made a point of letting me know when he brought the check to me. I was grateful for that, as I have inadvertently tipped twice at other establishments because I failed to notice it was already included. So I appreciated the reminder.

WiFi fixed. Love their Lunch Box daily specials! Today was swordfish, shrimp fried rice, salad and lemon bars for $15.

There is a joke my neighbor said as we were seated. The entire retirement community was here for lunch. (She's a senior herself lol) She wasn't kidding.... BUT for a Wednesday, the dining area was PACKED. FOR LUNCH! Yes. The stuffed bear, deer heads... would probably deter a lot of people who judges a book by it's cover...but- the food was freaking fantastic. It's the kind of place that I would go to with my parents when we go up north. The food was exceptional. It's sad to say but it's been rare to find establishments who have it all together. Rockys has the whole package. They have staff who are attentive and hold loyalty to their business. The food is fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced and best of all? I don't have to drive really far to get a small escape for a good meal. We ordered: two glasses of wine, their house salad and a seasonal salad with grilled salmon. Both salads were probably the best I had this year. The salmon was grilled perfectly and had a succulent bite. And I can't wait to go back and try it with steak next time. I'm sure I would eat everything again and lick my plate.... again. This place is phenomenal and I highly recommend it.
